Just as you shouldn’t lie for a man, you also shouldn’t cover up his mistakes. If he’s made a mess, it’s his responsibility to fix it, not yours. Getting involved could lead to trouble for you, or worse, he could shift the blame onto you. Stay clear and let him handle his own problems.
